The SDZ2000-400 RV height instrument measures and shows the location of the driller ' s RPG and the speed at which the RPG moves, providing acoustic alerts when the RV ' s position exceeds its set warning value and providing electrical protection. The instrument, which uses a whole box-based LCD window structure, a stand-alone LCD window display, is suitable for mechanical and electric-driven drills and helps users to perform safe drilling and well repair operations.

The instrument consists of a cruiser ‘ s height sensor, a signal conversion kit, a liquid crystal display box, an alarm (explosive siren) and a cable link.
Depending on the user ‘ s needs, the parameters can be collected using a workstation or laptop to enable data storage, querying and printing.
