Shanghai-built heavy drilling platform departs for the Persian Gulf

35 nautical miles ahead of the “window” of the Ocean Mountain Border Post, where the civilian police went to the Green Hua anchor to conduct an exit inspection of the large semi-submarine “Innovative Path” carrying two platforms.

On 13 December, the China-News Online Sea (Jingya Chen) delivered for export two heavy oil rigs, with a total value of nearly 310,000 tons, constructed by the Chinese Shipgroup Limited, Upper High Bridge Ship Building Limited.

In recent years, China and the countries bordering the Persian Gulf, such as the United Arab Emirates and Qatar, have been deepening their cooperation in the field of energy. The Persian Gulf is rich in hydrocarbon resources, but the sea is hot, salty and suntanned, and the conditions for drilling of hydrocarbon resources are stringent, and sea-resilience requirements for drilling equipment are high.

The production of drilling equipment, which is capable of operating under severe sea conditions and has been able to operate for more than 90 per cent of the day in a row, has resulted in a product integration that is at the lead of the same industry and has won the favour of the relevant oil and gas giants in the Middle East. It is known that 75 per cent of the marine engineering platforms manufactured for export from new areas in Port-au-Prince this year are to be delivered to areas around the United Arab Emirates and Qatar, with a total value of $629 million.

After a period of decline in previous years, oil prices have recovered in recent years. This year, international oil giants such as British Petroleum, the French company Dodar and the Abu Dhabi National Petroleum Company deployed oil exploration, stimulating demand for related oil-mining equipment. At the beginning of this year, China established the National Sea Industry Asset Management Company Ltd. of Beijing and the National Sea Industry Asset Disposal Platform. The combination of China Shipping Group and China Shipping Heavy Worker formed the largest shipbuilding group in the world, opening a wider road to the world for seafood equipment produced by the companies under the flag. Since this year, the sea engineering rigs, which manufacture exports from new areas of Shanghai port, have produced a small wave of delivery, with four cumulative delivery platforms, creating a port-of-port brand of seafood equipment for commissioning, delivery and export.

The oil rig is a high-technology, high-value-added product for large-scale marine engineering equipment, which is heavy, large and expensive and has high costs of export delivery. In order to enhance the international competitiveness of heavy seafood products, the Seamount Border Post provides a special route for the departure of the Seaworker Platform, which creates a fast route for the delivery of the Seaworks Platform at the anchor of the East Sea Green Mountain, the only site on which semi-dive operation conditions exist.

In order to facilitate the smooth departure of the two platforms, 35 nautical miles ahead of the “window” of the Seamount border post, the civilian police travelled to the Green Wah Hill anchor to conduct an exit inspection of the large semi-submarine “Innovative Path” carrying the two platforms, and the two oil rigs named “Energy Rings” “Energy Attractive” were successfully on their way to oil exploration in the Persian Gulf.

As indicated by the Yooyama border checkpoint, since this year, the station has been actively involved in the export of four offshore platforms, and a total of 88 crew members have been cleared for exit, 17 crew members have been cleared for disembarkation and the enterprises concerned have been saved nearly RMB million.
